Spirit of Le Mans to take BIC by storm as only 10 days remain for Bapco Energies 8H or Bahrain
Only 10 days are left (from Tuesday, 28 October) until the Spirit of Le Mans lights up the track at Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) in this year’s Bapco Energies 8 Hours of Bahrain.
The highly anticipated event takes centre stage at ‘The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East’ on 7 and 8 November as the eighth and final round of the 2025 FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC).
The race weekend will be headlined by a stacked WEC grid of Hypercars and LMGT3 contenders – featuring motoring’s most advanced technology and bearing the liveries of many of the industry’s biggest brands.
These ultra-quick cars are piloted by some of the biggest names in all of motor racing, who will be battling it out in varying conditions, with the eight-hour main event – the WEC’s only race of its duration – flagging off under the afternoon sun but then wrapping it up at the chequered flag under lights at night.
Aside from the WEC, there will also be plenty of support race action in the Porsche Carrera Cup Middle East, as well as non-stop family entertainment on both days – ensuring that there is something for everybody.
The off-track attractions feature stunt shows, a monster truck display as well as a monster truck passenger experience. There are also pro racing simulators, a kids’ play area with colourful shows and fun activities, roaming entertainers from all over the world, and so much more. All these experiences are included as part of the WEC ticket.
BIC is calling on race fans across the Kingdom to purchase their tickets today for the WEC spectacle, which will be crowning the series’ newest Hypercar and LMGT3 champions.
WEC is one of the most prestigious series in all of motor racing, and tickets to the event offer tremendous value for an occasion of its calibre – rates that cannot be matched anywhere else in the world for a world championship event under the Federation Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA).
Grandstand seats cost just BD5.5 for adults and BD2.75 for children for both days of racing and family entertainment. They can be bought online at bahraingp.com or by calling the BIC Hotline on +973-17450000.
Fans are urged to secure their tickets as soon as possible due to high demand, especially with the WEC’s growing popularity amongst fans both from Bahrain and worldwide.
Hospitality packages are also available to enjoy the event from BIC’s luxurious suites. These are priced at BD290 per person, excluding VAT, for the two days.
All those attending the race weekend will also be able to experience the open paddock – an offering unique to BIC’s annual WEC event. Fans will be able to cross the BIC tunnel from the vending area and access the paddock, which is where the WEC’s star drivers and their teams call home for the duration of the meeting.
All tickets purchased will make a lasting impact off the track as BIC and Bapco Energies are collaborating again to bring back the ground-breaking Green Ticket Initiative.
For every WEC ticket sold, a proportion of the revenue, matched by Bapco Energies, will be donated to a fund which will directly support the planting of new mangroves in Bahrain. BIC recently completed the donation of 5,000 new mangrove trees based on last year’s Green Ticket Initiative campaign.
Bapco Energies is marking a special milestone at this year’s Bapco Energies 8 Hours of Bahrain. They are celebrating their 10th anniversary as title sponsors of the race, which also features Beyon as a support partner.
