Van Kuijk tops Porsche First Practice

Van Kuijk tops Porsche First Practice

Jesse Van Kuijk has kicked off the racing action at the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2021 at Bahrain International Circuit by topping the First Practice timesheet of the Porsche Sprint Challenge Middle East.

The series is holding the third and final round of its 2020/2021 season this weekend.

Van Kuijk posted a best time of 2mins 04.579secs in his #7 car while completing 17 laps of running.

JB Simmenauer finished second-fastest with a 2mins 04.696secs lap, while Lucas Groeneveld was third on the session’s timesheet with a mark of 2mins 04.970secs.

A total of 24 cars took to the track.

The Porsche Sprint Challenge Middle East ME returns for a Second Practice starting at 7.25pm.
