Verstappen tops first F1 Practice of the season
Max Verstappen was the fastest man in the First Practice of the new Formula 1 season today, which kicked off the weekend’s events in the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2021 at Bahrain International Circuit.
The Red Bull Racing ace posted his best time of 1min 31.394secs late in the hour-long session, held in daylight.
Valtteri Bottas of Mercedes followed on the timesheet 0.298secs behind, while Lando Norris, who was momentarily in first place, finished third 0.503secs back.
Lewis Hamilton, Charles Leclerc, Sergio Perez, Pierre Gasly and Carlos Sainz rounded off the top eight.
