Viscaal scores second win in MRF race three

Bent Viscaal scored his second victory of the weekend after taking race three in the MRF Challenge, being held in support of the FIA WEC Bapco 8 Hours of Bahrain.

Viscaal was on the winning end of a tough battle with pole-sitter David Schumacher, from whom he snatched the lead on lap one.

The Dutch youngster did well to hold on to the advantage until the end, capturing the chequered flag by a narrow margin over Schumacher.

Only 0.765 seconds separated the pair. Viscaal completed the 10-lap sprint in 20 minutes 16.541 seconds.

Indian-American Yuven Sundaramoorthy finished third 6.702s from Viscaal.

One final race in the MRF Challenge remains for the weekend.
