Unique Collection of F1 Replicas to Be Released Soon

Bahrain International Circuit, ‘The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East,’ announced today, Monday 1st February, the distribution of its unique fleet of Formula 1 car replicas around the Kingdom of Bahrain as part of the promotional campaign for the 2010 FIA Formula 1 World Championship Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix.
The Formula 1 replicas, branded in a variety of themes, will be on display at various shopping malls and public areas all over the island to begin celebrating the inaugural race of the 60th anniversary season of the FIA Formula 1 World Championship, taking place on the 12th, 13th and 14th of March at Bahrain International Circuit, Sakhir
Bahrain International Circuit gave the public its first taste of the model Formula 1 cars during the official press conference launch for the Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix, held early last month. The model display included a Gulf Air branded replica and another painted by renowned Bahraini artist Abbas Al Mosawi in a variety of colours and intricate themes.
The unique collection will be seen by hundreds of thousands across the Kingdom and presents an excellent medium for creating awareness and exposure for Bahrain’s business community. Bahrain International Circuit is inviting companies and institutions to take advantage of this attractive opportunity by placing their logos and branding as part of the car’s chassis. Not only will this create awareness for those organisations who take part in the collection, but it will also add to the spectacle as  ‘Race Number One’ prepares to kick off the 2010 FIA Formula 1 World Championship.
For more information on how to get your company’s logo and branding displayed on one of the  Formula 1 car replicas, call the Bahrain International Circuit Hotline on +973-17-450000.
The group responsible for painting the cars is being led by established Bahraini artist Abbas Al Mosawi, who has in the past been at the forefront of other hugely successfully promotional activities for the 2010 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix. With their work, they aim to promote the rich heritage in the Kingdom and to put on show the distinctive character of Bahrain.
Members of the public interested in attending the Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix can now purchase their tickets online at www.bahraingp.com or by calling the Circuit’s hotline (+973-17-450000).
