Overview
One iconic car brand meets one world-class circuit to offer the ultimate in driving thrills.
McLaren Automotive, the British creator of luxury, high-performance supercars, and Bahrain International Circuit, the Home of Motorsport in the Middle East, have come together to offer the ultimate in driving thrills.
The experience provides drivers of all abilities a unique opportunity to experience the performance of a McLaren supercar on track, in a safe and controlled environment. All participants will be joined by McLaren-trained Pro Drivers to ensure full compliance with the safety regulations, as well as to further explore the dynamic potential of the vehicle and hone their driving skills.
Each session of the experience will take approximately two and a half hours and include a thorough safety briefing followed by familiarisation off-track dynamic driving experience, and sessions on the iconic Formula One race track.
The cars:
The models selected to support the experience include McLaren 600LT and 600LT Spider – both chosen due to their track-focused dynamics and enhanced levels of driver engagement. True to the brand’s light-weight ethos, the McLaren 600LT tips the scales at only 1,247 kilograms of dry weight in its lightest configuration. The car features a 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 engine generating 600PS and 620 Nm of torque, which translate to a truly breath-taking acceleration figures of 2.9 seconds from 0-100 km/h and a top speed of 328 km/h
Your experience:
- Welcome, registration and briefing
- 1 x 20 minute session driving in the McLaren Dynamic area (slalom/ Launch Control/ emergency stop)
- 2 x laps BIC instructor driving – introductory laps
- 2 x 6 lap driving sessions. Total of 12 laps
- Full debrief and feedback session
- 1 x Hotlap (BIC Instructor driving) to finish the day
