BIC hosts exciting second and final day of 2025 Bahrain Darts Masters

Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), ‘The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East’, is hosting this evening the second and final day of the 2025 Bahrain Darts Masters.

The two-day darts spectacle, kicking off this year’s Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) World Series of Darts, crowned the event’s latest champion in the Kingdom.

A record capacity crowd of passionate darts fans from Bahrain and overseas packed the BIC Dome for the second straight evening, enjoying plenty of intense action featuring the biggest stars in the game.

The atmosphere was electric, full of excitement, and fun for all in attendance with a vibrant mood that mirrors similar major international darts events held worldwide.

Fans were also able to take part in a fancy dress contest for the second night running, with the lucky winner awarded a pair of tickets to this year’s World Darts Championship at Alexandra Palace in London, England.

Colourful costumes have become a major part of the Bahrain Darts Masters, and the supporters did not disappoint, turning up in all kinds of colourful attire, costumes of superheroes and popular movie and TV characters, and much more.

The World Darts Championship is held annually by the PDC. The lucky winners will have the chance to experience the unique atmosphere for an event that was sold out in just 15 minutes for last year’s competition. The tickets won do not include flights and accommodation.

In this evening’s action, which continued into the early hours of Saturday (Editor’s note: 18 January) morning, the quarter-finals kicked off the schedule, followed by the semi-finals and the highly anticipated final.

Making it through to the last eight were reigning World Champion and last year’s winner in the Kingdom Luke Littler, World Number One and 2024 World Champion Luke Humphries, former World Champions Gerwyn Price and Peter Wright, ex-World Matchplay Champion Nathan Aspinall, Bahrain debutants Stephen Bunting and Chris Dobey, and Asian representative Paolo Nebrida, who claimed a stunning first-round victory on Thursday when he eliminated former World Champion Rob Cross.

It was the first time in the history of the Bahrain Darts Masters that a participant from the continent took down a PDC icon in the event’s opening phase.

In the round of eight, Littler took on Price, Humphries went up against Aspinall, Bunting played Dobey, and Wright battled Nebrida.

The Bahrain Darts Masters is organised by BIC and sports promoter CBX and supported by Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority. This year’s event marked the third edition of the Kingdom’s annual darts spectacle.
