Darts fans with tickets to this weekend’s 2024 Bahrain Darts Masters are in for an incredible treat on Wednesday (17 January) evening, as they will get the chance to meet the game’s biggest icons in the official draw and autograph session at Bahrain Rugby Football Club (BRFC) in Saar.

The event will take place from 6pm to 8pm, with fans able to get autographs and selfies with the biggest stars in world darts, including recently crowned world champion Luke Humphries, teenage darts sensation Luke Littler, and defending Bahrain Darts Masters champion Michael Smith.

The draw, which will also take place at the event, will set the match-ups for the opening round of play in the two-day darts spectacle, which takes place Thursday and Friday (18 and 19 January) at Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) in Sakhir. It will be the opening stop on this year’s World Series of Darts calendar, and it will feature 16 of the very best in the sport.

Those wishing to attend this weekend’s 2024 Bahrain Darts Masters but still haven’t purchased their tickets or hospitality packages can still do so on bahraingp.com or through the BIC Hotline on +973-17450000.

World number one Humphries, 16-year-old Littler and world number three Smith are amongst the eight Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) superstars who will be competing in the Kingdom against eight Asian representatives.

The five other PDC legends, all of whom are amongst the top eight-ranked players in the world, are three-time World Champion and current world number two Michael van Gerwen, World Matchplay winner and current world number four Nathan Aspinall, Wales’ reigning World Cup winner and world number five Gerwyn Price, 2018 World Champion and world number six Rob Cross, and two-time World Champion and current world number eight Peter Wright.

The Asian representatives are Lourence Ilagan, Paolo Nebrida and Reynaldo Rivera from the Philippines; Haruki Muramatsu and Tomoya Goto from Japan; Man Lok Leung from Hong Kong; and Bahraini stars Abdulla Saeed and Hasan Haji.

Gates at BIC are scheduled to open at 6pm on Thursday and Friday, with the darts matches being held from 7pm to 11pm. A DJ session will then follow play from 11pm to closing at 1am.

The 2024 Bahrain Darts Masters will once again take place in BIC’s beautifully set-up dome tent, which will boast a fun and electric atmosphere. Those attending will be able to show off their flair for colourful costumes and fancy dress, while enjoying the highest level of darts in a venue specially designed to replicate the famed Alexandra Palace in the UK, the home of the World Darts Championship.

BIC and CBX have teamed up with the PDC to bring the World Series of Darts back to Bahrain in partnership with Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority.
