Burnout is back for more spectacular motorsport action at BIC on Saturday

Motorsport fans can enjoy another fantastic night of high-octane action as Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) hosts the latest edition of Burnout on Saturday (23 April) in Sakhir.

The widely popular event, which has attracted large crowds of enthusiasts in its first two meetings held earlier this month, continues the packed programme of thrills during Ramadan at “The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East”.

Burnout is traditionally held during this time of year, with participants coming from far and wide to put on a fantastic show of rising white smoke at BIC’s Vehicle Dynamics Area for the enthusiastic spectators on hand.

Registration for those taking part and the scrutineering of their cars will be held from 3.30pm on Saturday. Gates will open to the public at 7pm, and then the Burnout action starts at 8pm and continues until after midnight.

The participation fee is BD8 for each driver. Those who would like to join in on the excitement as a passenger can do so for BD5.5.

All entrants’ vehicles must meet specific eligibility criteria before being permitted to take part.

Spectators will be able to watch each event for BD2.

Burnout events are among the most highly participated at BIC, thus all those interested in participating are advised to register early.

This Saturday’s meet is the penultimate Burnout night of Ramadan at BIC. The final staging is scheduled to take place on 30 April.
