One week to go for WEC’s epic 2025 season-finale in Bapco Energies 8H of Bahrain at BIC

Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), ‘The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East’, continues to ramp up the excitement ahead of the Bapco Energies 8 Hours of Bahrain, with only one week to go for the World Endurance Championship’s (WEC) highly anticipated 2025 season-finale.

The seven-day countdown begins on Friday (Editor’s note: 31 October) to when BIC opens its gates to fans for the Le Mans-inspired endurance racing spectacle, taking place 7 and 8 November in Sakhir.

Race-goers can expect plenty of world-class motor racing action, headlined by the WEC’s packed grid of Hypercars and LMGT3 contenders, and supported by the region’s leading one-make championship, the Porsche Carrera Cup Middle East.

Off the track, BIC has lined up a wide variety of entertainment for the whole family to enjoy. These attractions have been put together in signature BIC style, with so much to see and do over the course of the two days at this year’s WEC weekend.

All of this is included in the ticket price, and fans wishing to be a part of this year’s event can purchase their grandstand tickets today at just BD5.5 for adults and BD2.75 for children for the two days. Tickets can be bought online at bahraingp.com or by calling the BIC Hotline on +973-17450000. Fans are urged to secure their tickets as soon as possible due to high demand, especially with the WEC’s growing popularity amongst motor racing fans both from Bahrain and worldwide.

Hospitality packages are also available to enjoy the event from BIC’s luxurious suites. These are priced at BD290 per person, excluding VAT, for the two days.

The colourful off-track entertainment includes a wide selection of activities and shows for young children, making for a fun family day out.

BIC is setting up an exclusive outdoor area for kids where they can enjoy multiple live performances filled with magic and adventure. These feature popular tales such as The Little Mermaid, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, and Jack and the Magical Beanstalk.

An outdoor play area will also have much for youngsters to do, including a car-themed inflatable castle, a kids’ train ride, merry-go-round swings, an inflatable obstacle course, and mini cars for endless fun. There will also be face painting, hair-braiding stations, and so much more.

For those looking for more extreme entertainment, stunt shows will leave fans in awe, headlined by returning world-famous stuntmen Terry Grant and Lee Bowers, along with freestyle motocross (FMX) stunt bikers.

A monster truck show will also keep fans on edge, while – in an amazing first for BIC – fans will be able to get into the monster truck itself for an unbelievable passenger experience. This can be enjoyed at no extra cost for those who are brave enough to take it on.

There will also be plenty of roaming entertainers coming from all over the world who will be setting a vibrant, festival-like mood at BIC, including drummers, artists, magicians, Pop the Balloon Man, and much more.

Furthermore, race enthusiasts will have a chance to test their skills in state-of-the-art simulators, along with a challenging speed-reaction game.

All tickets purchased will make a lasting impact off the track as BIC and Bapco Energies are collaborating again to bring back the ground-breaking Green Ticket Initiative. For every WEC ticket sold, a proportion of the revenue, matched by Bapco Energies, will be donated to a fund which will directly support the planting of new mangroves in Bahrain.

Bapco Energies is marking a special milestone at this year’s Bapco Energies 8 Hours of Bahrain. They are celebrating their 10th anniversary as title sponsors of the race, which also features Beyon as a support partner.
