Roaming performers add colour and pomp to F1 Bahrain GP entertainment

The long list of roaming performers coming from all over the world and entertaining fans at the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2019 will make anyone smile.

There is something for everyone at Bahrain International Circuit’s (BIC) Formula 1 Village vending area when the Grand Prix spectacle takes place March 28 to 31 in Sakhir.

BIC makes it a point each year to offer something special for the entire family, and this upcoming Formula 1 weekend is no exception.

Among the roaming acts set to mingle with race-goers are Dr Bubbles, Tri-Colour Walkabout, Batucada Timba and the Steam Dancers. Each offers their own unique kind of amusement, and they are sure to be a favourite amongst those in attendance.

Dr. Bubbles provides a spectacular show that starts with gentle, modest and romantic bubbles synchronising with the music and evolving into a fantastic, wild, magical and impressive show. A flamboyant and colorful creation and an artistic mood elevator, the giant soap bubbles come in all shapes and sizes. These unique structures of water reflect the lights, making them shimmer in the colours of a
rainbow, awakening the inner child in adults and bringing sparkling joy to everybody.

Tri-Colour Walkabout is a magnificent roaming act on stilts, dressed in show-stopping, impressive and unique outfits. With proud and graceful movements, their action is certain, and their charm, wit, and drama make them an astonishing sight. Since 2010, this trio has been gracing international festivals all over Europe and beyond.

Energetic Batucada Timba, composed of young and talented musicians, are passionate and full of life. Their purpose is to enliven the audience with their rhythms. The combination of good music and colourful costumes creates a fascinating group, beautiful to look at and pleasant to listen to. This extraordinary percussion team, founded in Southern Spain in 2010, take part in the most important events all over the world.

The Steam Dancers perform on stilts while playing with large wind-sleeves and wearing funky costumes. These recall past times but also the future, linked to technology and innovation. With strong scenic impact, itinerant, dynamic and of great visibility, together with the musical background chosen for the occasion, they bring together original ingredients for every exceptional event.

Aside from the abovementioned roaming performers, some of the others this year are the Circolo Stilt-Walkers, Circus Parade, The Dans, Men-Alien and Rainbow Ballet.

Bahrain Grand Prix tickets are the hottest in town, so race fans are urged to pick theirs up at the earliest to ensure their attendance in the region’s biggest event this year.
