BIC hosts Batelco Fitness on Track Tuesday for fun, physical activity within unique, safe setting
It’s time to get physical once again at Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) in Sakhir as “The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East” hosts the latest edition of the widely popular Batelco Fitness on Track activity on Tuesday night (22 November).
Batelco Fitness on Track offers participants the chance to get some valuable exercise either on foot or on a bicycle within BIC’s casual, safe and visually stunning environment.
All those joining will be able to enjoy a workout with family members and friends in a unique setting.
Tuesday’s event is scheduled to be held between 6pm and 10pm, giving runners and cyclists alike the chance to be on the BIC track under its bright, state-of-the-art floodlights.
As in every Batelco Fitness on Track activity, it has proven to be very popular amongst the local community, with individuals and groups of all ages taking part as they look to keep physically active while enjoying BIC’s world-class setting.
Those interested in taking part are therefore advised to book online in advance on BIC’s official website bahraingp.com or by calling the BIC Hotline on +973-17450000.
All who register must pay upon booking. The cost to take part remains the same as last season at BD2 for cyclists and BD1 for runners. Those under the age of 12 can participate for free if accompanied by a paying adult.
The running and cycling will take place on separate track layouts. Runners and walkers will be utilising the 2.550-kilometre Inner Track, while cyclists will be able to ride their bikes along BIC’s 3.543-kilometre Outer circuit, with a dedicated area for children’s cycling.
