Kanoo Motors Rolling Drag to bring head-to-head fun to the strip Thursday at BIC

Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) is set to bring the action to the drag strip on Thursday (November 7) with the season’s first edition of the Kanoo Motors Rolling Drag Nights.

Rolling Drag is one of the newest offerings added to the already long list of thrilling activities at “The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East”.

Similar to BIC’s Ebrahim K Kanoo Drag and Drift Nights, Rolling Drag gives a chance for participants to power their very own cars or motorbikes down the circuit’s quarter-mile strip, which is a member of the US-based National Hot Rod Association Worldwide Network.

The major difference in Rolling Drag is that those who take part do not start from a standstill, but from a rolling speed of 80kph.

Rolling Drag is therefore the perfect activity to invite a friend or more and then challenge them for a series of head-to-head battles to see who can outgun the other.

Thursday’s Kanoo Motors Rolling Drag Nights is scheduled to take place between 7pm and midnight. Registration will be held at BIC’s car park no. 2, and it will be open from 5pm until 9pm.

The cost to participate is BD20 for each driver or rider. There is an additional fee of BD5 for a service car and BD7 for an accompanying passenger. Spectators can watch all the action for a nominal entry fee of BD2. Tickets are sold at car parks no. 4 and no. 2.

Just as in every BIC activity, safety standards of the highest level are followed at all times during the evening’s events for both drivers and spectators alike.
