National Race Day triple-header to light up the track for an action-packed Friday at BIC
Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), ‘The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East’, hosts an exciting triple-header on Friday (21 November) with the third round of National Race Day this 2025/2026 season.
The event is set to feature three of the Kingdom’s most exciting local championships, including the Bahrain Touring Car Challenge (BTCC), the Bahrain Motorcycle Championship (BMC), and Time Attack – making for a packed schedule from morning until the early evening in Sakhir.
The meeting is being organised and run by BIC in cooperation with the Bahrain Motor Federation, the Circuit Racing Commission, the Bahrain Motorcycle Commission, and the Bahrain Auto X and Drift Commission.
Racing will be held along BIC’s 2.55-kilometre Inner Track. The action is scheduled to begin at 9.45am and continue until 7pm under lights.
All are welcome to attend. Tickets are BD2 for adults and BD1 for children. They can be purchased online at bahraingp.com, through the BIC Hotline on +973-17450000, or at the gate.
Race-goers will get to watch from BIC’s Beyon Grandstand, offering fantastic views of key parts of the circuit, including the Inner Straight where the start and finish lines are located.
BTCC practice kicks off the day’s programme at 9.45am, to be followed by qualifying at 12.45pm. The first of two races in the round will then be held at 2.25pm, followed by race two at 4.50pm.
The BTCC field is expected to be headlined by Ali Almansoori, who has swept all four races held so far this season.
Meanwhile, the BMC will see action in both the 1,000cc and 600cc classes. Saeed Al Sulaiti was the victor in the 1,000cc class in the previous meeting, while Mohammed Alzaidan triumphed amongst the 600cc runners.
BMC practice will be held at 10.20am to kick things off, while qualifying will take place at 12.45pm. The round’s sole race is then set for a 3.10pm flag-off.
Time Attack completes Friday’s programme with action to be held across the championship’s various competition categories, including SU, UL, MA, SA, MB, and SB.
Time Attack practice is set for 10.55am, while heat one for the SU, UL, and MA classes will be at 1.45pm. The first heat for SA, MB, and SB will then take place at 3.55pm, followed by heat two for all categories at 5.35pm.
The podium ceremonies follow all the action.
BIC’s 2025/2026 racing calendar features seven rounds of National Race Day. Following this weekend’s action, the campaign resumes next calendar year with round four on 10 January. Round five will be held on 6 February, and then the sixth and penultimate meeting will take place on 13 March. That will set the stage for the grand finale on 24 April.
